20th February – Livingston, Scotland - Danwood, one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of printers, copiers and faxes providing total print solutions packages to benefit businesses, has today announced the appointment of Bill Allan as commercial sales director, Scotland.
In his new role, Allan will lead a team of 22 to drive forward Danwood’s sales and growth strategy across the mid market business community. As a member of the senior management team at Danwood Scotland, Allan will work alongside the corporate sales director, Danny Johnston to build the Danwood business in Scotland to £15 million turnover within five years.
Allan has over 20 years experience successfully running sales and service operations for Canon, the world leader in digital imaging solutions in Los Angeles where his clients included Disney, Warner Bros, BP and Royal Bank of Scotland. He and his family returned to the UK in October 2004 when Bill was appointed head of Canon Business Solutions in Scotland.

In particular, his understanding of the business environment in which Danwood operates will be invaluable as we take the company forward and look to increase our market share in Scotland.”
